11/16/15 day 17: Dresden, DE

Caught the tail of breakfast around 10:30, said our goodbyes to our friends at the Hotel and then hit the road. Made decent time, save a little traffic outside of Dresden, and parked the car around 3:30 on the street maybe exactly where we parked last time we played at the Blue Note. A quick Glühwein and cascading selfie then it was Durum time. Durum is the same as a Döner only it comes in a tortilla and not bread. Just as tasty and more contained.
This one was a beast. Only made it half way through. Saved the other half for a snack later.

We met Mirko (Blue Note owner) at 5:45 and got the keys to the band apartment above the club. We had an hour to chill before load in so we all just chilled and got caught up on the interwebs. Sound check was done by 7:30 and then we had two hours to kill before the set so we hung and met with our friends Falko, Max, and Veronika and got all caught up on the last year.

We had a good set. The sound was great. The club is narrow and small so it's super cozy and you don't need a huge Pa to fill the space. We made some new friends and sold some discs after the set.
After the show we hung and rapped. So grateful for our extended family here. We made plans to do a walk about with Max tmrw and lunch at Falko's burger joint (he claims they are the best in town) and then we are going to see Spectre Wednesday night and then Max invited us all to dinner after. Life is good. Night from Dresden.
