1/20/15 day 1: phx>det>ams>stu

Up and at 'em at about 7:45 this morning. Up before the alarm even. Another beautiful day in PHX. Had a quick and delicious southwest inspired breakfast at Cafe downtown; egg scramble w chorizo and hot peppers. Figured it's bread and cheese from here on out so might as well blow it out one last time. Even had a taste of a jabanero latte concoction. Delicious.

Flights were painless for the most part; phoenix to Detroit, Detroit to Amsterdam. Slept a total of about 1.5 hrs. Watched November Man and about 30 minutes of a Japanese Kung fu movie and Hercules, tossed and turned, and BLAM, we arrived and it's Wednesday.

Spotted Jeff "international face station" Vallone in the passport line in Schiphol. Met the remaining third of the trio, Peter "Party Schnitzel" Day on the other side of the check point. The "Two Beardos & One Werido Tour" is underway!
