4/14/13 day 13: Stuttgart

Arrived at the Stuttgart airport around 9:15am and swooped up my tour mates. Spirits were high as we made our way back to Göppingen and the hotel. The woman back at the hotel was nice enough to let us all eat breakfast even though peter and Jeff had just checked in. The boys were pleasantly surprised at the spread which included cold cuts, cheese, yogurt and granola, coffee, fresh baked bread, scrambled eggs, and to Peter's delight, liverwurst! After breakfast we had a three hour rehearsal, and I must say, it's sounding amazing. I love the instrumentation; acoustic guitar, bass, and percussion. And the harmonies!! It's sounding really, really good.

After rehearsal, we took a break and walked outside and had a beer in the sun at the cafe next door. It was there where Peter's new nickname was discovered: Big Dunkel. It was warm. The sun was shining and spirits continued to rise. We went on a small walk about and came across families out waking, eating gelato, enjoying the sun.

We decided to cap the night with some proper German cuisine: schnitzel. We sat outside, and enjoyed a Maß and some Schnitzel. I gotta hand it to the guys... They made it all day without a major nap. Hopefully, the jet lag won't last as long as it did with me.

Das Leben besteht aus Hoehen und Tiefen. Heute hatte ich beide. Gute Nacht.
